The Opportunity

As an Operations Area Manager, you'll take ownership of operational performance within your designated area, ensuring seamless coordination across inbound, outbound, inventory, and logistics activities.

You'll lead teams, monitor performance, improve processes, and ensure operational targets are consistently achieved while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy, safety, and efficiency.

What You'll Be Doing

Lead and manage warehouse operations across designated operational areas.

Oversee inbound receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and logistics processes.

Drive operational performance by monitoring KPIs, productivity, accuracy, and service-level agreements (SLAs).

Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and operational teams to achieve performance targets.

Optimize warehouse workflows, space utilization, and resource allocation.

Ensure inventory accuracy through effective stock control, cycle counts, and discrepancy management.

Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Oversee picking, packing, dispatch, and delivery coordination to ensure timely order fulfillment.

Work closely with internal stakeholders and logistics partners to maintain seamless operations.

Maintain compliance with operational procedures, quality standards, and workplace safety requirements.

Use operational data, reporting, and performance insights to drive informed decisions.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Management, or a related field. An MBA or master's degree is an advantage.

Minimum 8 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role.

Strong experience managing operational teams in a high-volume environment.

Solid understanding of inventory control, stock rotation, warehouse processes, and logistics management.

Proficiency in ERP, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and logistics management systems.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including reporting, dashboards, and data analysis.

Proven ability to improve operational efficiency, manage costs, and deliver against KPIs.

Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.

Experience in e-commerce, retail distribution, or high-volume fulfillment operations would be particularly valuable.
