Key Responsibilities

· Responsible for preparing Method Statements for Testing & Commissioning activities.

· Responsible for planning Testing & Commissioning activities.

· Coordinate with OE and EPC in relation to commissioning activities.

· Report daily work progress to OE and EPC.

· Support internal Testing & Commissioning management work.

Job Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

· At least 5 years of experience in Testing & Commissioning of primary and secondary electrical power systems, especially transformers and switchgear.

· Approval from any of the following authorities: SEC / TRANSCO / DEWA / TAQA / KAHRAMAA, OR hands-on experience with main substation equipment.

· Experience developing Method Statements for Testing & Commissioning activities.

· Good English communication skills (speaking and writing), with the ability to explain and mediate technical issues with OE and EPC; Chinese is a plus.

· Knowledge of GCC power-system standards.

· Knowledge of IEC and IEEE standards.

Knowledge of Grid Compliance Tests and Performance Tests for photovoltaic systems and energy storage stations, and familiarity with the testing procedures
