What You'll Do as a Seasonal Christmas Tree Sales Associate

Help customers select Christmas trees, fresh greens, and seasonal nursery products to make their holiday celebrations special.

Provide friendly, helpful service by answering questions, offering suggestions, and creating a positive shopping experience.

Prepare Christmas trees for customers and assist with loading trees and other purchases into their vehicles.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe nursery area by keeping displays tidy, removing trash, and clearing walkways.

Operate small equipment, including a saw and tree drill, following proper training and safety procedures.

Assist with unloading deliveries, stocking seasonal products, and keeping the nursery ready for customers.

Process customer purchases at the nursery register and assist with checkout as needed.

Support special holiday activities, including the Night of Joy event, and pitch in wherever your team needs help.

Friendly & Customer-Focused: Enjoys helping people, answering questions, and making every customer feel welcome.

Dependable Team Player: Shows up ready to work, pitches in where needed, and works well with coworkers during the busy holiday season.

Hands-On & Active: Comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for 6–8 hours, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions, including cold, rain, and snow.

Willing to Learn: Eager to learn about Christmas trees, seasonal nursery products, cash registers, and the safe operation of small equipment, including saws and tree drills.

Retail or Nursery Experience: Previous experience in retail, customer service, landscaping, or a garden center is helpful but not required.

Positive & Respectful: Brings a cheerful attitude, treats customers and coworkers with kindness, and shares our commitment to teamwork, honesty, and excellent service.
