Role Description The Plumbing Appliance Sales Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Torrance, CA. This position is responsible for assisting customers in selecting plumbing fixtures and related kitchen and bath products, providing detailed product information, and recommending solutions that fit customer needs and budgets. Day-to-day activities include greeting customers, conducting product demonstrations, preparing quotes, processing orders, and coordinating with vendors and internal teams on availability and delivery. The specialist maintains showroom displays, keeps product knowledge up to date through ongoing training, and uses a point-of-sale system and basic computer tools to manage sales activities. The role also involves following up with customers, supporting after-sales service, and contributing to a positive, team-oriented store environment.
Qualifications
Strong customer service and sales skills, including active listening, consultative selling, and relationship building.Knowledge in premium plumbing brands and premium appliance brands .Full Spiffs-Commission and Hourly base.Basic knowledge of plumbing fixtures, appliances, or home improvement products, with willingness to learn technical product specifications.Effective communication skills, including clear verbal communication, professional email writing, and confident in-person presentation.Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and common office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, and inventory or CRM tools).Ability to work on-site full-time, including weekends or evenings as needed in a retail environment.Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail in quotes, orders, and documentation.Comfort working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced showroom setting.Previous retail, showroom, or plumbing/appliance sales experience is preferred but not required.Must have 7 day availability High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in sales or home improvement products is a plus.
