ABOUT THE ROLE

55 Car Care is a multi-brand automotive service center covering Mechanical, Electrical, EV, Body Shop, Paint, Detailing and other automotive services.

We are looking for an experienced IT Engineer to take ownership of our IT infrastructure, automotive systems and digital operations, with a strong focus on implementing and managing our DMS (Dealer Management System).

The goal is to build a connected workshop environment where every vehicle, job card, part, technician, invoice and customer interaction can be tracked accurately from booking to final delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the implementation, setup and ongoing management of the DMS.

Configure job cards, vehicle records, customer data, parts, labour, invoicing and workshop workflows.

Manage user roles, permissions and access across different departments.

Build and improve digital workflows covering booking, vehicle reception, inspection, job cards, workshop control, quality control, invoicing, delivery and customer follow-up.

Integrate the DMS with accounting, HR/payroll, inventory and customer communication systems where required.

Manage customer communication systems including WhatsApp/SMS, booking confirmations, service reminders and follow-ups.

Develop management reports and dashboards covering workshop performance, technician productivity, labour hours, service advisor performance, revenue, parts and other key KPIs.

Manage the company's network, servers, computers, tablets, printers, CCTV, access control and other IT infrastructure.

Support automotive diagnostic equipment, software, updates and licensing, including systems used for Chinese-brand vehicles and EVs.

Manage Microsoft 365, user accounts, data security, backups and recovery systems.

Troubleshoot hardware, software, network and system issues and provide timely technical support.

Act as the main point of contact for IT-related issues across the workshop and office.

Coordinate with external software providers, IT vendors and service providers.

Maintain system documentation and create simple user guides and procedures.

Train employees and new staff on DMS and other operational systems.

Identify opportunities to improve workshop efficiency through technology and automation.

Ensure data accuracy, system reliability and proper use of company systems across all departments.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.

3–5 years of relevant IT experience.

At least 2 years of experience working with an automotive service center, dealership, workshop or similar automotive operation is strongly preferred.

Hands-on experience with an automotive DMS, ERP or workshop management system.

Strong understanding of automotive workshop processes, including job cards, labour hours, parts flow, inspections, invoicing and vehicle delivery.

Experience with system implementation, configuration, data migration and user training.

Strong knowledge of networking, Windows environments, hardware and Microsoft 365.

Good knowledge of databases, system administration and data security.

Strong Excel and reporting skills; Power BI is an advantage.

Experience integrating different business systems is an advantage.

Ability to support automotive diagnostic software and equipment.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Good English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage.

UAE driving licence is preferred.
