About the Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-centric Home Consultant with a strong passion for interior aesthetic, home design, and retail sales. In this role, you will interact directly with customers, understand their home decor and furniture requirements, provide personalized recommendations, and help turn their design ideas into reality.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcome and engage walk-in customers and clients in a professional, consultative manner.
Understand client preferences, floor plans, budget requirements, and aesthetic styles (modern, classic, contemporary, etc.).
Recommend appropriate furniture pieces, fabric/finish customizations, and home layout options.
Conduct product demonstrations, explaining features, material quality, durability, and care instructions.
Prepare quotations, process orders, and coordinate with the store delivery team for seamless execution.
Maintain relationships with architects, interior designers, and returning clients to drive repeat business.
Stay updated on current home decor, color palettes, and interior design trends.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in interior design, diploma in architecture/design, or business/arts equivalent preferred.
Experience: 1–3 years of sales/consulting experience in furniture, modular kitchens, home decor, or premium retail.
Skills:
Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
Spatial awareness and basic understanding of furniture dimensions and space planning.
Strong sales pitch and negotiation abilities.
