Engineering Technician - Waterpark

Summary

Key responsibilities:

To perform all routine maintenance and repairs on waterpark - including FM equipment, building, FLS systems, water-based features, activities, slides, and pools - with the highest safety standards, in accordance with international water safety regulations and local authority guidelines.

Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.

Read and interpret equipment manuals, drawings, and work orders to perform required maintenance and services. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, troubleshoot, and adjust whenever required.

Monitor and maintain water quality systems, including filtration, chemical dosing, and circulation equipment, in compliance with safety and health standards.

Conduct preventive maintenance activities according to approved schedules and accurately record all maintenance work in the computerized maintenance management system.

Qualifications

Role requirements:

Diploma or Technical Certification in Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.

Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance of waterparks, swimming pool systems, hospitality facilities, or similar environments.

Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and water treatment systems, including pumps, motors, filtration equipment, and control panels.

Good understanding of safety procedures and regulatory requirements, with the ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and on a rotational shift schedule when required.

Must be willing and able to work outdoors throughout the entire shift in varying weather conditions.
