Job Description

We're looking for a professional and detail-oriented Driver - Light Vehicle to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating light work vehicles to transport goods and workers while maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, excellent time management, and a commitment to maintaining our vehicles in optimal condition.

Operate light vehicles safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations in the UAE

Plan and execute optimal routes to ensure timely delivery or transportation of goods and/or passengers

Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify maintenance issues and report them promptly

Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery logs

Ensure vehicles are kept clean and well-maintained at all times

Communicate professionally with dispatchers, customers, and colleagues

Follow company policies and safety protocols to minimize accidents and incidents

Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide courteous service

Manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules and deadlines

Report any vehicle malfunctions or safety concerns immediately

Qualifications

Valid UAE driving license for light vehicles (Category B or equivalent)

Minimum 2-5 years of proven driving experience

Clean driving record with no major traffic violations

Comprehensive knowledge of UAE traffic rules, regulations, and road signs

Strong time management and organizational skills

Professional communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to read maps and navigate using GPS/navigation systems

Basic vehicle maintenance and inspection knowledge

Physical ability to operate vehicles for extended periods

Reliability and punctuality

Customer service orientation

**Preferred Skills:**

Experience with GPS and navigation technology

Defensive driving training or certification

Previous experience in logistics or delivery services

Familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures

Multilingual abilities
