Gulf Helicopters Company seeks a highly motivated and experienced Technical Service Engineer to join our Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization (CAMO).
The role provides engineering support to ensure the continued airworthiness, safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance of GHC’s fleet. The position reports to the Technical Services Head within the Technical Division’s CAMO Department.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Review and evaluate Airworthiness Directives (ADs) and Service Bulletins (SBs) to determine applicability and ensure regulatory compliance.
✅ Prepare Engineering Orders, work scopes, and technical instructions for aircraft modifications, repairs, and other engineering activities.
✅ Monitor aircraft and component reliability trends, including EHM/HUMS, and recommend preventive and improvement actions.
✅ Support technical investigations involving aircraft incidents, defects, component failures, and other technical issues.
✅ Coordinate with OEMs, Design Agencies, MRO partners, regulatory authorities, and internal departments on technical matters
✅ Review Aircraft Maintenance Programs (AMP), Minimum Equipment Lists (MEL), and technical manuals to ensure continued compliance with regulatory and operational requirements.
✅ Support aircraft modifications, repairs, troubleshooting, reliability improvement, and continued airworthiness activities.
✅ Prepare technical reports and provide technical guidance and training to maintenance planning and engineering teams.
Qualifications & Experience
✔ Bachelor’s Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or a related field.
✔ Minimum 6 years of experience in Aviation Technical Services.
✔ Strong knowledge of QCAA, EASA, and ICAO safety, airworthiness, and regulatory requirements.
✔ Experience in aircraft technical services, technical investigations, reliability monitoring, engineering documentation, and airworthiness compliance.
✔ Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical reporting skills.
