Senior Forward Deployed AI Engineer

Property Finder

Role:Property Finder is the leading property portal in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, dedicated to shaping an inclusive future for real estate while spearheading the region’s growing tech ecosystem. At its core is a clear and powerful purpose: To change living for good in the region.

Founded on the value of great ambitions, Property Finder connects millions of property seekers with thousands of real estate professionals every day. The platform offers a seamless and enriching experience, empowering both buyers and renters to make informed decisions. Since its inception in 2007, Property Finder has evolved into a trusted partner for developers, brokers, and home seekers. As a lighthouse tech company, it continues to create an environment where people can thrive and contribute meaningfully to the transformation of real estate in MENA.

About

Forward Deployed Engineering at Property Finder Real estate is one of the largest industries in the region, and one of the least transformed by AI. We intend to change that. Forward Deployed Engineering is a new unit at Property Finder, built with a small team of specialized engineers. We start with the customer and work backwards. We sit with real estate professionals, understand their hardest problems, and invent solutions that did not exist before. We use state of the art models and agentic systems, and we measure success by one thing: the impact we create for our customers. Our work goes beyond writing code. We help customers rethink how they operate, define solutions for complex problems, and adopt AI in ways that change the trajectory of their business. What works for one customer becomes a product for thousands across the region. You will be part of the founding team. The solutions you build will set the standard for how AI transforms real estate in MENA.

About The Role

You are a seasoned senior engineer. You dig into complex problems, find the root cause, and turn it into a simple solution that works. You care about impact, not output. You speak the language of your customers. You explain technical choices to agency owners and agents in plain terms, and you earn their trust by delivering. Inside Property Finder, you partner with other engineering teams and product managers to turn what you learn in the field into solutions that scale. You will spot recurring problems across clients, design pragmatic solutions that fit each client's constraints, and turn them into platform requirements. You are a leader, not just a problem solver. You set direction, rally people around it, and make change happen.

What you'll do

Work closely with customers. Understand how their businesses run, identify the problems that matter most, connect the dots, and solve them.

Drive change and impact from day one.

Build and ship fast. Prototype AI and agentic applications in days, not quarters. Take the ones that work all the way to production.

Own outcomes. Define success with the customer, measure it, and iterate based on real usage data.

Codify patterns. Turn individual solutions into reusable components, reference architectures, and playbooks the wider organization can scale.

Close the loop. Bring field insight back to product and engineering leadership to shape what we build next.

Raise the bar. Share what you learn, mentor engineers, and help grow AI capability across the company.

What we're looking for

7+ years building and operating production systems, including 2+ years shipping generative AI or agentic applications to real users.

Strong hands on engineering across the stack. TypeScript or Go on the backend, React or an equivalent framework on the frontend.

Deep applied AI experience: RAG, tool use, agentic workflows, and MCP, run in production with proper evaluation, observability, and cost control.

Hands-on experience with leading AI platforms and models such as AWS Bedrock, OpenAI, and Anthropic Claude.

Experience integrating with messy third party systems: CRMs, APIs, data exports, and everything in between.

A data driven mindset. You form hypotheses, measure results, and let evidence decide.

Deep curiosity and an eagerness to learn. AI moves fast, and you move with it.

Clear communication with technical and non technical audiences, from individual agents to business owners. This is a customer facing role. A significant share of your time will be spent working directly with customers, in person and remote.

Nice to have

Experience in real estate, proptech, marketplaces, or classifieds.

Prior forward deployed, solutions engineering, or technical consulting experience.

Experience using generative AI image / video tools to turn data, insights or reports into polished, shareable visual assets at scale.

Arabic language skills.

How you work

You start with the customer's problem, not the technology.

You ship the simple thing first and earn the right to build the complex one.

You know when a solution should stay a one off and when it should become a product.

You back decisions with data and communicate tradeoffs clearly.

You own the result, not the task.

Our promise to talent

At Property Finder, we believe talent thrives in an environment where you can be your best self. Where you are empowered to create, elevate, grow, and care. Our team is made up of the best and brightest, united by a shared ambition to change living for good in the region. We attract top talent who want to make an impact. We firmly believe that when our people grow, we all succeed.
