The Contract Driver – Vehicle Testing & Mapping Operations role is responsible for safely operating assigned vehicles to support vehicle testing, road mapping, route validation, and data collection activities across designated locations. The Project Coordinator – Vehicle Testing Operations will serve as the primary operational point of contact between the client, Drivers, and internal project management team. This role is responsible for coordinating daily testing activities, conducting driver orientations and operational training, managing route assignments, monitoring driving progress, and ensuring that all testing activities are executed according to client requirements and established operational procedures.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and confident in managing client relationships and field operations. This position requires strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and monitoring skills, with the ability to manage multiple Drivers and ensure smooth execution of daily vehicle testing activities.

Functional Responsibilities Vehicle Operation & Route Execution

Safely operate assigned vehicles for vehicle testing, road mapping, route validation, and operational activities.

Complete a minimum target of 200 kilometers of assigned driving per day, subject to approved operational adjustments.

Strictly follow assigned routes, navigation instructions, testing procedures, and driving schedules.

Avoid unauthorized detours, route deviations, or interruptions that may affect testing accuracy and project deliverables.

Operate vehicles across highways, urban roads, residential areas, and other designated testing environments.

Support day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts as required.

Travel to designated testing locations within the assigned country or deployment area.

Navigation & Mapping Operations

Proficiently use GPS-based navigation and digital mapping applications to follow assigned routes.

Monitor navigation instructions and report discrepancies, inaccessible roads, road closures, or route-related issues.

Ensure accurate execution of assigned routes and designated driving activities.

Follow specific client instructions related to mapping, vehicle testing, and road coverage.

Immediately report any technical or navigation-related issues affecting route execution.

Vehicle Inspection & Safety Compliance

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

Ensure the assigned vehicle is roadworthy and properly maintained before and after each shift.

Immediately report vehicle defects, warning indicators, incidents, or unusual vehicle behavior.

Comply with local traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies.

Observe required rest periods and fatigue management procedures.

Maintain the cleanliness and general condition of the assigned vehicle.

Reporting & Communication

Maintain accurate daily driving logs, mileage records, route completion records, and operational reports.

Provide regular driving progress updates to the assigned Project Coordinator.

Promptly report incidents, delays, route deviations, vehicle issues, and operational concerns.

Complete all required documentation and testing-related reports within established deadlines.

Maintain clear and professional communication with the Project Coordinator and operations team.

Professionalism & Operational Discipline

Strictly adhere to assigned schedules, route instructions, and operational procedures.

Attend mandatory safety briefings, driver orientations, and project-specific training.

Client & Stakeholder Management

Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day client coordination and operational concerns.

Attend client meetings, project briefings, and operational updates.

Communicate project requirements, operational updates, and performance expectations to Drivers.

Address client inquiries, escalate operational concerns, and ensure timely resolution of issues.

Maintain strong working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

Driver Management & Training

Conduct Driver onboarding, orientation, and operational training before deployment.

Ensure Drivers understand assigned routes, driving schedules, testing procedures, safety protocols, and reporting requirements.

Provide regular coaching and guidance to ensure compliance with client expectations.

Monitor Driver attendance, punctuality, performance, and adherence to assigned schedules.

Coordinate Driver deployment, shift schedules, replacements, and daily manpower requirements.

Route Assignment & Monitoring

Prepare and distribute daily route assignments and driving schedules to Drivers.

Monitor Driver progress and route completion throughout assigned shifts.

Ensure Drivers strictly follow designated routes and testing instructions, with no unauthorized detours or deviations.

Track daily driving distance, driving hours, route coverage, and task completion.

Coordinate route adjustments and reassignment when operationally necessary and authorized.

Identify route execution issues, delays, and deviations, and implement appropriate corrective actions.

Ensure accurate recording and reporting of completed routes and assigned driving activities.

Project & Operational Coordination

Oversee daily vehicle testing operations to ensure activities run smoothly and according to project timelines.

Coordinate with Drivers, clients, and relevant operational teams to address day-to-day requirements.

Monitor vehicle availability, deployment schedules, and operational readiness.

Ensure completion and submission of daily operational reports, route logs, attendance records, and other required documentation.

Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend process improvements.

Escalate incidents, safety concerns, vehicle issues, and other critical operational matters promptly.

Support project planning, resource allocation, and operational performance tracking.

Compliance, Safety & Reporting

Ensure Drivers comply with traffic regulations, company policies, client requirements, and established safety procedures.

Monitor compliance with assigned driving hours, rest periods, and operational schedules.

Ensure all Drivers complete required safety briefings and operational training.

Review daily reports and ensure accurate documentation of route completion, incidents, and irregularities.

Prepare and present regular operational updates and performance reports to the client and management.

Maintain confidentiality of client information, vehicle testing activities, and project-related data.

Required Qualification Minimum Qualifications:

Must be currently residing in Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, or the United Arab Emirates.

Must possess a valid driver's license appropriate for the assigned vehicle category and deployment location.

Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience preferred.

Demonstrated ability to drive long distances and operate vehicles for extended periods.

Physically and mentally fit to perform extended driving duties safely.

Proficient in using GPS navigation applications such as Google Maps and Waze.

Ability to follow detailed driving instructions and assigned routes accurately.

Good communication skills in Arabic; English proficiency is an advantage.

Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and extended shifts.

Ability to pass required background checks, driving record verification, and drug screening, subject to applicable local requirements.

Willingness to undergo a practical driving assessment and spatial reasoning test.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in vehicle testing, road mapping, navigation, or data collection operations.

Working Environment

Overview Of The Role

The Accessories Manager will establish and scale the Accessories and Service Products business for BYD, Denza across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The role owns the end-to-end P&L for the accessories category — building the operating model from the ground up, developing a competitive portfolio of genuine and locally sourced accessories, and creating differentiated service product programs that drive recurring revenue, customer retention, and aftersales margin. The role sits at the intersection of Aftersales, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Brand, and is a critical commercial enabler for the new energy vehicle launch program in KSA and a long-term contributor to aftersales profitability.

What You Will Do

Accessories Strategy & Business Planning

Develop and execute the multi-year Accessories and Service Products strategy for BYD, Denza in KSA, aligned with brand positioning and aftersales business ambition.

Establish the accessories operating model from scratch — governance, processes, pricing architecture, channel strategy, and performance management framework.

Build the Annual Operating Plan for accessories, including sales volumes, revenue, gross margin, inventory, and investment plans.

Define the long-term growth roadmap covering portfolio expansion, vendor base development, and digital sales channels.

Product Portfolio Development

Develop a competitive portfolio of genuine OEM accessories, locally developed accessories, and bundled value packages tailored to Saudi customer preferences.

Design and launch service product programs including extended warranty, service contracts, paint protection, ceramic coating, tinting, and EV-specific care packages.

Lead accessory programs supporting new vehicle launches, special editions, and brand-defining model introductions across the three brands.

Manage the full product lifecycle — phase-in, phase-out, refresh cycles, and competitive repositioning.

Lead cross-functional accessory project teams from concept through development, sourcing, launch, and post-launch performance review.

9–15 years of progressive experience in Automotive Accessories, Service Product Development, or Aftersales Commercial Management within an OEM, national distributor, or large dealership group.

Demonstrated track record of owning and delivering an Accessories P&L, including revenue, gross margin, and attachment rate targets.

Hands-on experience building accessory portfolios from concept to launch, including local vendor ecosystem development.

Proven track record managing both local / regional and international accessory suppliers, with a working network across KSA, GCC, Asia.

Strong understanding of Saudi and Gulf customer preferences in accessory selection, fitment, and vehicle personalization.

Have at least 1 year of experience in B2B sales development, inside sales or business development

Have experience working in dynamic, fast-paced startup or scale-up environments in tech / SaaS, demonstrating adaptability and a growth mindset.

Have hands-on experience with sales enablement tools like Hubspot and Salesforce and email automation platforms .

Have a proven ability in cold calling, email outreach, and lead qualification .
