Renewable Energy Engineer / Process Safety Engineer
SK Ventures
Role:Role DescriptionWe are seeking technically skilled, analytical, and safety-conscious professionals for the positions of Renewable Energy Engineer / Process Safety Engineer. These roles focus on developing sustainable energy solutions, improving industrial safety, evaluating technical risks, and ensuring that engineering systems operate efficiently and reliably. Successful candidates will contribute to engineering design, performance optimization, risk assessment, and the implementation of solutions that support environmental responsibility and safe industrial operations.
Renewable Energy Engineers are responsible for evaluating, designing, and supporting renewable energy systems, including solar, wind, and other sustainable energy technologies. Key duties include assessing energy requirements, analyzing site and system performance data, supporting technical feasibility studies, and developing engineering specifications. They collaborate with project managers, electrical engineers, equipment suppliers, and other stakeholders to support system installation, commissioning, performance monitoring, and maintenance planning. They may also evaluate energy efficiency, identify opportunities to improve power generation, review technical proposals, and contribute to projects that reduce environmental impact and support sustainable energy objectives.
Process Safety Engineers focus on identifying industrial hazards, evaluating operational risks, and developing measures to prevent accidents and equipment failures. Responsibilities include conducting hazard identification studies, reviewing process designs, assessing safety systems, and supporting risk assessment activities. They may participate in Hazard and Operability Studies (HAZOP), Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA), and other process safety reviews. They also help develop safety procedures, investigate incidents, evaluate corrective actions, and ensure that engineering operations align with relevant safety standards and regulatory requirements. Collaboration with process engineers, operations teams, and safety professionals is essential to maintaining safe and reliable facilities.
Both roles require strong analytical thinking, technical problem-solving, and attention to detail. Professionals in these positions support engineering quality, risk reduction, operational reliability, and continuous improvement while contributing to sustainable development and safer industrial environments.
