Pipeline Engineer / Pipeline Integrity Engineer
Daily Marcom
Role:Role DescriptionWe are seeking technically proficient, analytical, and detail-oriented professionals for the positions of Pipeline Engineer / Pipeline Integrity Engineer. These roles focus on pipeline design, engineering analysis, asset integrity, operational reliability, and risk management across oil and gas, energy, petrochemical, and infrastructure projects. Successful candidates will contribute to engineering assessments, pipeline performance monitoring, maintenance planning, and the implementation of solutions that support safe, efficient, and reliable pipeline operations.
Pipeline Engineers are responsible for supporting the design, development, installation, and technical evaluation of pipeline systems used for transporting oil, gas, water, and other industrial fluids. Key duties include reviewing pipeline layouts, preparing engineering calculations, evaluating material specifications, assessing pressure and flow requirements, and coordinating technical documentation. They collaborate with engineering, construction, procurement, and project teams to ensure pipeline systems meet design specifications and applicable industry standards. Additional responsibilities may include reviewing technical drawings, supporting route selection, evaluating pipeline materials, monitoring construction activities, and assisting with testing and commissioning. Pipeline Engineers also help identify design challenges, assess operational requirements, and recommend practical engineering solutions.
Pipeline Integrity Engineers focus on maintaining the safety, reliability, and long-term performance of existing pipeline assets. Responsibilities include conducting integrity assessments, reviewing inspection data, evaluating corrosion and degradation mechanisms, and identifying potential threats to pipeline systems. They support inspection programs, risk-based assessments, maintenance strategies, and integrity management plans. The role may also involve analyzing intelligent pigging results, reviewing non-destructive testing reports, assessing defects, monitoring corrosion control systems, and recommending corrective actions. Pipeline Integrity Engineers coordinate with inspection, maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to prioritize integrity-related activities and ensure compliance with relevant technical and regulatory requirements.
Both positions require strong engineering knowledge, analytical thinking, and effective coordination skills. Professionals in these roles contribute to pipeline safety, asset reliability, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement throughout the pipeline lifecycle.
