The Onboard Software Solutions Team is responsible for creating, configuring, and deploying all onboard software components dedicated to a program or mission. We configure and extend agnostic onboard software to fit a given satellite architecture and requirements, and are responsible for the development, end-to-end testing, and release of that onboard software.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology, helping build modern automated infrastructure, bringing software and space together. About this Role:

Streamline the creation, integration, validation, and release of onboard software by improving test coverage, automating testing, and minimizing time from feature development to availability on-orbit

Configure standard onboard software components for customers' payloads and support the deployment and troubleshooting internally and externally

Own and evolve the tools for onboard software creation, versioning, testing, and release management while providing transparent, up-to-date status tracking for all stakeholders across programs and missions

Collaborate closely with the broader Engineering and Satellite Operations teams to ensure the rapid, reliable, and thoroughly tested deployment of onboard software for customers

Must Haves:

What you will do

What you bring

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related engineering discipline.

Experience in working in SPI & Aveva Instrumentation. 3D modelling activities related to Instrumentations.

Experience in preparation of Modification Scope of Work for Existing Control Systems.

Participation in site survey and data collection for Instrumentation design.

Participation in various Workshops such as Design reviews, HAZOP, SIL, Risk review, Energy Optimization review, Value engineering, constructability & other workshops.

Good understanding of HSE requirements of both self and within the discipline team.

Ensuring technical integrity of the Instrumentation deliverables for the project. In particular ensure compliance with the work scope and with applicable international standards.

Work on proposals and prepare MH estimation.

Qualification

Job Specific Knowledge: Experience (minimum 10 years) in execution of Concept, FEED and Detail Engineering for onshore & downstream Oil and Gas projects.

Perform engineering design for I&C System for Oil and Gas projects.

Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training: Graduate Degree in Instrumentation Engineering.

HSE Capability: Good knowledge of Hazardous Area classification, Instrumentation Safety in design, Sustainable design engineering, HAZID, HAZOP, SIL.

IT Skills: Computer skills with MS office and Instrumentation engineering / sizing software such as SPI, AVEVA, Instrucalc softwares, etc.

People Skills: Good communication skill, able to guide designers, Junior Engineers. and workshare team.

Extent of Guidance or Control: Should be able to guide team of Engineers and Designers, Workshare.

Role:BYD Middle East

Role Purpose

Drive profitable retail sales for the assigned performance and luxury flagship models across the Middle East through our dealer partners. The role combines regional sales planning, dealer performance management and private-client development, delivering sales targets and a customer experience consistent with the positioning of each model.

Model portfolio: DENZA Z, DENZA Z9GT, YANGWANG U9, YANGWANG U8 and YANGWANG U8L.

Key Responsibilities

Sales strategy and delivery: Develop and execute sales plans for each assigned model and market. Translate regional objectives into dealer targets, customer-development priorities and clear action plans.

Dealer performance management: Lead regular business reviews with dealers covering retail sales, orders, customer pipeline, conversion, cancellations and inventory. Agree corrective actions and follow through on delivery.

Private-client development: Work with dealers to build relationships with high-net-worth customers, collectors, business leaders, family offices and relevant corporate accounts. Support key customer negotiations and bespoke purchase requirements.

Customer experience: Establish standards for enquiry handling, private viewings, demonstrations, vehicle presentation and handover, tailored to each model. Coordinate with aftersales teams to resolve customer concerns and maintain ownership satisfaction.

Commercial discipline: Monitor transaction prices, discounts and sales support against approved policies. Recommend targeted commercial actions that support growth while protecting profitability, brand value and residual values.

Inventory and forecasting: Consolidate dealer forecasts and align customer orders and vehicle allocations with demand. Manage stock availability, ageing inventory and demonstration vehicles to support healthy retail sales.

Dealer capability: Develop designated dealer sales specialists and assess showroom readiness. Coordinate product training, luxury and performance selling skills, sales coaching and consistent customer relationship management practices.

Launches and customer engagement: Partner with marketing, product and dealer teams on launches, private previews, driving experiences, customer events and referral programmes. Track resulting qualified leads, orders and retail deliveries.

Market intelligence and reporting: Monitor competitor products, pricing and customer offers. Provide accurate performance reporting and practical recommendations to regional leadership and headquarters.

Candidate Profile

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or a related discipline.

At least eight years of automotive sales experience, including three years in luxury or performance automotive sales management.

Proven success developing private-client business, managing dealer or distributor partnerships and delivering sales targets.

Strong understanding of Middle East luxury customers and automotive markets; regional experience preferred.

Commercially strong in pricing, negotiation, forecasting, inventory management and sales performance analysis.

Confident managing senior dealer stakeholders and high-value customers.

Able to influence dealer teams, establish accountability and coordinate across functions.

Knowledge of electric vehicles and advanced automotive technology preferred.

Fluent English; Arabic is an advantage. Willingness to travel across the region.
