We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Technician – 3D Printing to join our Manufacturing Department. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in additive manufacturing, operating and maintaining industrial 3D printers, preparing CAD models for printing, and producing high-quality precision components.

Solmacher Solar Energy is looking for a technically competent and detail-oriented BESS Project / System Engineer to support the engineering, integration, testing, and commissioning of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) for solar PV, hybrid power (PV + BESS + Diesel Generator), and other energy storage applications.

The successful candidate will be involved throughout the project lifecycle, from system sizing and technical design reviews to equipment procurement, site installation, system integration, and commissioning. The role requires a strong understanding of electrical power systems, battery storage technologies, safety requirements, and coordination across multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

BESS System Design & Engineering

Develop and review BESS system configurations, including battery capacity (MWh), power rating (MW), discharge duration, and integration requirements.

Review Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), electrical schematics, equipment layouts, cable routing, and technical design packages.

Evaluate technical submittals for Battery Management Systems (BMS), Energy Management Systems (EMS), Power Conversion Systems (PCS), inverters, transformers, switchgear, and auxiliary systems.

Technical Compliance & Safety

Review battery thermal management systems, HVAC or liquid-cooling solutions, fire detection and suppression systems, and emergency shutdown arrangements.

Oversee BESS pre-commissioning activities, including equipment inspections, electrical testing, protection system verification, communication checks, and readiness for energization.

Coordinate BESS installation testing, initial energization, start-up, shutdown, synchronization, and commissioning in accordance with approved procedures and manufacturer requirements.

Verify battery charging and discharging operations, State of Charge (SoC), State of Health (SoH), power output, energy capacity, round-trip efficiency, and overall system performance against contractual guarantees.

Coordinate integration of BESS with Solar PV systems, diesel generators, SCADA, EMS, microgrid controllers, and plant monitoring systems to ensure seamless hybrid power plant operation.

Verify communication interfaces, data exchange, control commands, alarms, and protection signals using Modbus RTU/TCP, CAN bus, and other applicable industrial communication protocols.

Conduct functional and integrated system testing, including charge/discharge modes, power control, load sharing, peak shaving, energy management, grid synchronization, and backup operation, as applicable to the project.

Verify the functionality of BESS safety and protection systems, including emergency shutdown (E-Stop), fire detection and suppression, gas detection, thermal management, alarms, and protective interlocks.

Support site performance testing, troubleshooting, identification of technical defects, corrective action coordination, and resolution of commissioning issues.

Coordinate final performance verification, commissioning reports, punch-list closure, as-built documentation, O&M manuals, operator training, and technical handover to the client.

Project Execution & Site Coordination

Prepare and review Method Statements (MOS), inspection and test plans, technical procedures, and commissioning documents.

Coordinate with civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical teams on foundations, equipment placement, cable containment, earthing, and installation interfaces.

Review vendor drawings, material submittals, technical documentation, and operation and maintenance manuals.

Resolve technical queries, Requests for Information (RFIs), non-conformance reports (NCRs), and engineering changes.

Monitor engineering deliverables, procurement activities, and technical milestones to support project schedules and quality requirements.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a related discipline.

3–7 years of relevant experience in BESS, solar PV, hybrid power systems, power generation, or industrial electrical infrastructure.

Practical experience with containerized lithium-ion BESS, preferably LFP or NMC battery technologies.

Experience in engineering design reviews, equipment technical evaluations, system integration, testing, or commissioning.

Experience coordinating with equipment manufacturers, suppliers, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams.

Relevant training or certifications in BESS, electrical safety, commissioning, or energy storage system safety is a plus.

Experience with utility-scale solar PV and BESS hybrid projects. is a plus.

Exposure to FAT/SAT witnessing, site commissioning, and performance testing.

About the Role

As a Solutions Engineer at CloudBees, you'll be a trusted technical advisor for prospects and customers across the Middle East and Africa. You'll partner with Account Executives to show enterprises across the region how CloudBees Unify brings governance, visibility, and trust to software delivery - across the tools they already run - and guide them from first demo through technical win.

Enterprise software delivery is changing fast. AI is writing more of the code, and the teams we serve are wrestling with how to review, secure, and validate it at scale. You'll sit at the center of those conversations: understanding each customer's toolchain, translating messy real-world delivery challenges into solutions, and making the technical case that closes the deal.

What You'll Do

Own the technical side of the sales cycle: discovery, demos, technical presentations, and proof-of-value engagements

Map customer DevOps workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and toolchains - then show how CloudBees Unify layers governance and evidence across them without rip-and-replace

Translate technical requirements into solutions that solve real business problems, from audit readiness to safe adoption of AI-generated code

Contribute to architecture discussions and support RFPs and security questionnaires

Act as the technical bridge between customers, Sales, Product, and Engineering - and bring field insight back to shape the product roadmap

Stay sharp on DevOps and AI-assisted development trends, the competitive landscape, and CloudBees product updates

What You'll Bring

Required:

5+ years in a Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or similar customer-facing technical role

Fluent Arabic and English - you will work with customers across the region in both

Strong command of DevOps concepts, CI/CD, and modern software delivery practices

Hands-on experience with tools such as Jenkins, Git, Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

The ability to make complex technical concepts land with both engineers and executives

Comfort with the pace and ambiguity of a fast-moving company

Nice to have:

Background as a Software Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or SRE

Experience across MEA enterprise or public-sector accounts

Provide support for application incidents across digital platforms, working closely with Platform Engineering, Application Development, and customer support teams to ensure timely resolution according to established SLAs and escalation procedures.

Operate and monitor the Elastic Observability stack — including Elasticsearch cluster health, Kibana, Fleet Server, APM Server, and Elastic Agent — deployed and managed via ECK on OKE.

Assist with day-to-day Elasticsearch operations such as index lifecycle management (ILM), snapshot lifecycle management (SLM), data tier housekeeping (hot, warm, cold, frozen), and capacity monitoring.

Troubleshoot telemetry ingestion issues across logs, metrics, traces, and synthetic monitors, ensuring consistent data collection from all platforms.

Maintain and update Kibana dashboards, alerting rules, and saved objects under the guidance of the SRE Manager.

Perform root cause analysis and participate in blameless post-incident reviews to improve system reliability and reduce recurrence.

Collaborate with Platform Engineering to automate repetitive tasks, improve deployment pipelines, and enhance observability coverage using Terraform, Helm charts, and scripting.

Develop and maintain support documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles aligned to standardized incident response procedures.

Manage and prioritize incidents and requests via the ticketing system (Jira/ServiceNow), ensuring all incidents, requests, and resolutions are documented in the service management system.

Participate in an on-call rotation and help reduce operational toil through automation and tooling.

Monitor and report on key performance metrics related to incident management, including mean time to detect (MTTD) and mean time to resolve (MTTR).

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendor partners to improve overall system reliability, observability maturity, and security posture.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

1 – 3 years of experience in IT operations, system administration, application support, DevOps, or SRE.

Familiarity with Observbility tools such as Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana, etc.), including basic querying and dashboard usage.

Knowledge of Linux systems and scripting (Bash, Python, or Go).

Understanding of monitoring, logging, and alerting concepts.

Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE

The Sales Specialist is responsible for maximizing on‑shelf product presence, conducting in‑store sampling

and promotions when needed, and ensuring full adherence to planograms. Any deviations must be reported

immediately to the pre‑seller. The role also includes providing up‑to‑date market information to support

sales opportunities. Additionally, the Sales Specialist must execute all in‑store activities according to

company standards, manage these activities through the PACE system, ensure data accuracy, maintain

Perfect Store compliance, and achieve performance KPIs. The position carries responsibility for execution,

system ownership, and overall performance.

Principal Accountabilities

Accountabilities:

Call on specific TT outlets as per daily journey plan provided by your supervisor.

Merchandize SSFL products within your TT stores in the various access points, shelf, stand, floor

display.

Place POS material wherever applicable next to our SSFL displays.

Ensure all access points are merchandized as per approved planograms.

Rotate product using FIFO method, and remove sub-standard products.

Maintain clean and fresh stock of SSF products on the shelf at all times.

Monitor and report competitive activities.

Report any deviations from agreed terms with your assigned OT customer / outlet.

Report daily activities of the prior day to your supervisor.

Participate in sampling / redemption campaigns when required.

Maintain appropriate personal appearance, and professional behaviour in line with Frito Lay code of

conduct.

Monitoring market developments, defining marketing objectives (He/She will be serving a

designated number of stores) and sales methods, and estimating the expected sales volume.

Oversee the implementation of sales GTM, sales methods, and the execution of promotional

programs.

Prepare specialized sales-related reports, providing appropriate recommendations, and storing

them in the designated database in accordance with approved policies and procedures.
