We are looking for an Experienced Joinery Estimator to join our dynamic and growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-driven professional with strong commercial awareness and a passion for delivering high-quality bespoke joinery and fit-out projects.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed take-offs and accurate material/ labour estimates for bespoke joinery packages
Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documents to produce competitive tenders
Manage project costs from start to completion, ensuring financial control and profitability
Evaluate and negotiate supplier and subcontractor quotations
Prepare valuations, variations, and final accounts
Collaborate closely with project managers, designers, and workshop teams
Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting
🧰 Required Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within joinery, carpentry, or fit-out
Strong understanding of joinery materials, manufacturing processes, and installation methods
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
Solid negotiation, communication, and time-management skills
Proficiency in estimating/quantity surveying software and Microsoft Excel
⭐ Preferred Experience
Background in high-end residential, commercial fit-out, or bespoke furniture projects
Experience working with workshop/manufacturing teams
Knowledge of cost planning and value engineering in joinery
