HVAC Engineer / MEP Engineer
Wesley Finance Group
Role:Role DescriptionWe are seeking technically proficient, detail-oriented, and solution-driven professionals for the positions of HVAC Engineer / MEP Engineer. These roles focus on building services engineering, mechanical system design, equipment selection, technical coordination, and the delivery of efficient and reliable building infrastructure. Successful candidates will contribute to engineering design, system installation, performance evaluation, and project coordination while ensuring that building systems meet technical specifications, safety requirements, and operational objectives.
HVAC Engineers are responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for commercial, residential, industrial, and institutional facilities. Key duties include preparing HVAC layouts, calculating heating and cooling loads, selecting equipment, reviewing ductwork and piping designs, and evaluating system performance. They coordinate with architects, contractors, suppliers, and other engineering disciplines to ensure that HVAC installations meet design requirements. Additional responsibilities include reviewing technical drawings, preparing equipment specifications, conducting system inspections, supporting testing and commissioning activities, and identifying opportunities to improve energy efficiency, indoor air quality, and overall system reliability.
MEP Engineers focus on the coordination and integration of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within building and infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include reviewing engineering drawings, coordinating technical specifications, evaluating system layouts, and ensuring that different building services operate effectively together. They support the design and installation of mechanical equipment, electrical distribution systems, water supply networks, drainage systems, and fire protection services. MEP Engineers also coordinate with consultants, contractors, project managers, and suppliers to resolve technical issues, monitor installation progress, review material submissions, and support inspection and commissioning activities. They help ensure that all systems comply with project specifications, applicable codes, and relevant safety standards.
Both positions require strong engineering knowledge, analytical thinking, and effective communication. Professionals in these roles contribute to building performance, energy efficiency, technical quality, and the successful integration of essential building services.
