Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an RF Optimization Engineer (2G/4G/5G) based in the Riyadh Region. The role involves performing RF network optimization for multi-technology mobile networks, including network performance. The engineer will analyze network performance data, monitor key performance indicators, and drive optimization activities to improve user experience and overall network efficiency. Day-to-day tasks include conducting drive tests and network audits, troubleshooting RF issues, proposing and implementing parameter changes, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to support network rollout and enhancement. The role also includes preparing technical reports, documenting optimization actions, and contributing to continuous improvement of tools, processes, and methodologies.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong RF Planning and RF Design skills for 2G, 4G, and 5G radio networks.
Candidates should possess skills in Network Performance analysis and Network Optimization, including troubleshooting coverage and capacity issues.
Candidates should possess experience working with Key Performance Indicators to monitor, evaluate, and improve radio network quality.
Solid understanding of cellular technologies, radio propagation, and mobile network architecture (RAN and core) is beneficial.
Experience with RF planning and optimization tools, drive test tools, and data analysis software is preferred.
Do well in analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional and multicultural teams.
Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic and prior experience in the Saudi or Middle East telecom market are advantageous.
Good to have Huawei RF Optimization work experience, master to use features for Performance improve.
