Role:Role Description This full-time Gardener role is an on-site position based in Toulouse. The Gardener is responsible for maintaining outdoor spaces, including lawns, flowerbeds, shrubs, and trees, ensuring they are healthy, safe, and visually appealing. Daily tasks include planting, pruning, weeding, mowing, trimming, mulching, and seasonal preparation of gardens and landscaped areas. The role also involves monitoring soil conditions, operating and maintaining gardening tools and machinery, and adjusting irrigation systems to meet plant needs. The Gardener collaborates with site management to implement garden designs, follow maintenance schedules, and ensure the grounds are welcoming and well kept throughout the year.
Qualifications
Strong practical skills in Gardening and Landscape Maintenance, with experience in caring for a variety of plants and outdoor areas.
Knowledge of Landscaping and Garden Design to help implement and maintain aesthetically pleasing outdoor spaces.
Experience with Irrigation systems, including basic installation, adjustment, and troubleshooting.
Ability to safely use and maintain gardening tools and machinery, such as mowers, trimmers, and pruning equipment.
Good physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Attention to detail, reliability, and ability to follow maintenance plans and safety procedures.
Basic understanding of plant care, soil health, and seasonal garden work; formal horticulture training or certification is a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team; basic French language skills are beneficial for on-site communication in Toulouse.
