Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented ELV Presales Engineer with strong technical and commercial experience in the design, estimation, pricing, and preparation of technical documentation for Extra-Low Voltage (ELV), security, ICT, and Lighting Control systems.

The ideal candidate must be capable of independently developing system designs, preparing technical drawings, conducting quantity take-offs, preparing cost estimates and quotations, and compiling material submittals in compliance with project specifications, drawings, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

· System Design & Engineering: Design and develop ELV systems, including CCTV, Access Control Systems, Public Address, ICT networks, passive components, lighting control, and other integrated systems.

· Pricing & Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, quantity take-offs, equipment pricing, vendor comparisons, and commercial quotations based on project requirements and specifications.

· Technical Drawings: Prepare and review system layouts, schematic diagrams, rack layouts, and other technical drawings using AutoCAD and relevant design tools.

· Material Submittals: Prepare comprehensive material submittals, including technical datasheets, compliance statements, technical specifications, catalogues, and supporting documentation for consultant and client approval.

· Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers to obtain technical information, quotations, compliance documents, and optimized solutions.

· Value Engineering: Identify cost-effective alternatives and propose technically compliant solutions without compromising system performance or project requirements.

· Presales Support: Support the sales team in preparing technical and commercial proposals, responding to RFIs, attending technical meetings, and clarifying system requirements.

· Project Handover: Coordinate with project and execution teams to ensure the approved design, pricing assumptions, equipment selections, and technical submittals are properly handed over.

Required Qualifications & Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.

· Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in ELV presales, estimation, design, or technical engineering.

· Strong hands-on experience in ELV pricing, system design, technical drawings, BOQ preparation, and material submittals.

· Good knowledge of CCTV, ACS, PA/VA, ICT, structured cabling, passive network components, lighting control, and related low-current systems.

· Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel.

· Experience working with manufacturers, distributors, and system integrators.

· Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

What you will do

What you bring

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related engineering discipline.

Major Accountabilities Of Position

A skilled Instrumentation and Control Engineer with around 10 years of expertise in the oil and gas industry oil and gas projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for design Engineering of instrumentation & control systems in complex, large-scale Oil and Gas Projects.

Develop and review FEED and detailed engineering designs for instrumentation systems, including control systems, safety systems, and measurement instruments.

Create and review instrument specifications, datasheets, and control narratives. Design, install, and configure process control systems, including instrumentation for temperature, pressure, flow, and level measurements.

Ensure proper integration of instrumentation systems with control systems such as ICSS, DCS, PLC, and SCADA.

Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., IEC, ISA, API, etc.).

Maintain documentation for all instrumentation and control systems.

Effective interaction with client engineering team for approval of design deliverables.

Represent organizational competency and capabilities at various forums.

Onshore design of Control room, Instrumentation Equipment Room (IES) in the Oil & Gas Industry. Instrumentation and Control System design for the assigned project interacting with other disciplines, client and vendors as required. Design of ICSS, F&G, ESD.

Experience in the production, design, evaluation and specification of I&C equipment and automation systems, package items and I&C bulk items including cabling in detailed design packages.

Development of I&C specifications, data sheets, Instrumentation & Control System Philosophy, Control System Architecture, Instrument Adequacy Report , Instrument Index , I&C Cable Block Diagrams , I&C Equipment List , Schedules, I/O list, SIL Assessment Report.

Instrument Sizing Calculations, Instrument Loop Diagrams , Instrument Hook-up Drawings Layout drawings, wiring details, Equipment sizing, I&C MTO.

Experience in Preparing Material requisition, Scope of Works, review of offers, technical clarifications & Technical Bid Evaluations for all I&C items such as ICSS, Field Instruments, Valves, Transmitters, Package items, Bulk materials.

Experience in working in SPI & Aveva Instrumentation. 3D modelling activities related to Instrumentations.

Experience in preparation of Modification Scope of Work for Existing Control Systems.

Participation in site survey and data collection for Instrumentation design.

Participation in various Workshops such as Design reviews, HAZOP, SIL, Risk review, Energy Optimization review, Value engineering, constructability & other workshops.

Good understanding of HSE requirements of both self and within the discipline team.

Ensuring technical integrity of the Instrumentation deliverables for the project. In particular ensure compliance with the work scope and with applicable international standards.

Work on proposals and prepare MH estimation.

Role Purpose

Drive profitable retail sales for the assigned performance and luxury flagship models across the Middle East through our dealer partners. The role combines regional sales planning, dealer performance management and private-client development, delivering sales targets and a customer experience consistent with the positioning of each model.

Model portfolio: DENZA Z, DENZA Z9GT, YANGWANG U9, YANGWANG U8 and YANGWANG U8L.

Key Responsibilities

Sales strategy and delivery: Develop and execute sales plans for each assigned model and market. Translate regional objectives into dealer targets, customer-development priorities and clear action plans.

Dealer performance management: Lead regular business reviews with dealers covering retail sales, orders, customer pipeline, conversion, cancellations and inventory. Agree corrective actions and follow through on delivery.

Private-client development: Work with dealers to build relationships with high-net-worth customers, collectors, business leaders, family offices and relevant corporate accounts. Support key customer negotiations and bespoke purchase requirements.

Customer experience: Establish standards for enquiry handling, private viewings, demonstrations, vehicle presentation and handover, tailored to each model. Coordinate with aftersales teams to resolve customer concerns and maintain ownership satisfaction.

Launches and customer engagement: Partner with marketing, product and dealer teams on launches, private previews, driving experiences, customer events and referral programmes. Track resulting qualified leads, orders and retail deliveries.

Market intelligence and reporting: Monitor competitor products, pricing and customer offers. Provide accurate performance reporting and practical recommendations to regional leadership and headquarters.

Candidate Profile

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or a related discipline.

At least eight years of automotive sales experience, including three years in luxury or performance automotive sales management.

Proven success developing private-client business, managing dealer or distributor partnerships and delivering sales targets.

Strong understanding of Middle East luxury customers and automotive markets; regional experience preferred.

Commercially strong in pricing, negotiation, forecasting, inventory management and sales performance analysis.

Confident managing senior dealer stakeholders and high-value customers.

Able to influence dealer teams, establish accountability and coordinate across functions.

Knowledge of electric vehicles and advanced automotive technology preferred.

Fluent English; Arabic is an advantage. Willingness to travel across the region.
